        • Temple Dress Code & Etiquette: Modest attire is required to enter Uluwatu Temple, with shoulders and knees covered. Sarongs are typically provided at the entrance to wear over shorts or skirts.
        • Macaque Safety: Wild monkeys around the temple grounds are known to snatch loose items. Store sunglasses, hats, jewelry, and loose belongings securely inside your bag before entering.
        • Cliffside Safety & Amphitheater Seating: The temple is situated along steep cliffs 70 meters above the ocean, so stay behind safety railings at all times. The open-air Kecak dance seating is unreserved, so arrive early with your guide to secure a good spot for the sunset show.
        What to bring
          • Modest Clothing / Light Cover-up: A sarong or scarf to cover your legs and shoulders when entering Uluwatu Temple (though sarongs are usually provided at the entrance).
          • Sunglasses & Sun Hat: To shield yourself from the sun while waiting for the show. (Note: Remember to stow loose accessories inside your bag before entering the temple grounds to keep them safe from curious monkeys!)
