1. Borobudur Climb-up Ticket

Due to group tour regulations with maximum booking of 5 tickets per booking, Borobudur climb-up tickets must be purchased individually via the official website.

Access: Includes entry to the temple grounds and permission to ascend the Temple

  • Foreigner Adult (10-99 years old): IDR 455,000/person
  • Foreigner Child (2-10 years old): IDR 305,000/person
  • Visitor Limit: Maximum of 150 visitors per hour and 1,200 per day.
  • Note: Climb-up access is closed every Monday.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: Borobudur Climb-Up Summer Peak Season Tickets (June–September) is High Demand Period.

  • June to September is peak tourist season due to school holidays and favorable weather.
  • Tickets, especially for the climb-up structure, sell out weeks in advance.
  • Only 1,200 visitors per day are allowed to climb the monument, with strict 150-person/hour slots.


How to Book Your Borobudur Climb-Up Ticket

You may choose from two options:
OPTION 1:
Purchase the ticket yourself via the official website:

  • Choose Visitor Type:
  • Foreigner for international travelers
  • Domestic for Indonesian citizens (KTP) or KITAS holders
    ⚠ Must show KTP or KITAS at entrance
  • Select 13.30 at any available ticket option: Mahakarya, Mandala, Caitya, or Bhumisambhara IDR 455,000*/ person.
  • Enter your personal details, nationality, and email.

Your e-ticket will be sent to your email.

❗ Please ensure your name is entered correctly. The ticket is name-sensitive and will be verified at the entrance.

  • Proceed to payment via card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or Amex)
  • Your e-ticket will be sent by email.
  • We will collect your ticket 1 day before the tour OR you may print and bring it to the meeting point

After receiving your e-ticket, to assist with entry coordination, please print it on paper and give it to our staff at the meeting point. Alternatively, you may upload your e-ticket in advance. Your ticket is name-sensitive.

To simplify your experience, we offer the option to have your Borobudur structure access ticket arranged by our team, with an additional 10% VAT IDR 505,000*/person, applied to the total ticket cost. This ensures smooth preparation and avoids errors in the booking process.

The ticket will be issued under your name and is non-refundable, non-transferable, and checked strictly at the temple entrance.


Complete your payment online using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or American Express). Once the payment is made, kindly fill in your details and upload your screenshot of payment to us.

You will receive a copy of your e-ticket by email or WhatsApp, in 24 Hours.

2. PRAMBANAN Ticket

For your convenience, the Prambanan ticket will be arranged by us and is valid for skip-the-line entry.
